Before Your Appointment

ONE WEEK BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Stop taking NSAID medicines such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and Naproxen since they interfere with normal blood clotting.
You may take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) as needed for pain, not to exceed 3000 mg a day.

THREE DAYS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Discontinue any irritant-type topical products or treatments on the treatment area.
- These include products such as alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids, retinol (vitamin A), vitamin C (in a low pH formula), scrubs, or anything perceived as 'active' skincare.
Treatments such as microdermabrasion and laser on the treatment areas.
No prolonged sun exposure to the area being treated.

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

Wear comfortable clothing.
Do not eat 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

After Care Instructions

There is absolutely no recovery period or downtime associated with EVOLVE. Patients can return to normal activities immediately after this non-surgical treatment. Redness and warmth in the treated areas are common, which will subside after a few hours.

Stay away from saunas/ hot tubs/ hot baths, for the first 24 hours after treatment.
Ice any areas that have redness for at least 10 minutes to reduce the redness.
Stay hydrated and drink lots of water.
